When I started TheCyberThrone.in back in 2020, it began exactly this way.
One idea. One commitment. Consistent effort.
No noise. No shortcuts. Just showing up every day.
Over time, that quiet beginning grew into something far bigger than I had imagined — reaching cybersecurity professionals across countries, supporting certification journeys, and becoming a space for thoughtful, experience-driven security discussions.
Today, I begin another chapter.
Why a Podcast, and Why CISSP First
After clearing my CISSP, something unexpected happened.
Nearly 70–75 like-minded professionals reached out to me.
Not for shortcuts or exam dumps — but for conversations around preparation strategy, mindset, decision-making, fatigue, failures, and discipline. Still they continue to keep in touch with me.
Those conversations made one thing clear:
while certifications test knowledge, the journey tests character.
That insight planted the seed for PK’s Chronicles.
I chose to start this podcast with CISSP — not because it ends there, but because it is where many cybersecurity journeys converge. CISSP represents experience, breadth, judgement, and perspective — values that extend far beyond a single exam.
Introducing PK’s Chronicles
PK’s Chronicles is not a CISSP-only podcast.
It starts with CISSP, but it will evolve to reflect cybersecurity as a whole — real stories, real lessons, and real conversations from the field.
The first detailed episode, “My CISSP Journey,” is deeply personal.
It is not about glorifying success, but about sharing the process:
- Staying disciplined when motivation fades
- Managing self-doubt even after strong preparation
- Learning from failed practice tests
- Handling mental exhaustion
- Building the mindset required for long-term growth in cybersecurity
There is nothing artificial here.
