CISA KEV Update Part II- July 2024


The US CISA has added three new vulnerabilities to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog, based on evidence of active exploitation.

  • CVE-2024-34102 Adobe Commerce and Magento Open Source Improper Restriction of XML External Entity Reference (XXE) Vulnerability
  • CVE-2024-28995 SolarWinds Serv-U contains a path traversal vulnerability that allows an attacker access to read sensitive files on the host machine.
  • CVE-2022-22948 VMware vCenter Server contains an incorrect default file permissions vulnerability that allows a remote, privileged attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
  • CVE-2024-36401: OSGeo GeoServer GeoTools Eval Injection Vulnerability: OSGeo GeoServer GeoTools contains an improper neutralization of directives in dynamically evaluated code vulnerability due to unsafely evaluating property names as XPath expressions. This allows unauthenticated attackers to conduct remote code execution via specially crafted input.

The due date for fixing the vulnerabilities set as 07 August 2024.
