Honda and Acura cars were hit by a Y2K22 malicious program that reset the navigation system clock to January 1st, 2002, with no way to change it.

On January 1st, the date on Acura and Honda navigation systems would automatically alter to January 1st, 2002, with the time resetting to 12:00, 2:00, 4:00, or different times based on the model or possibly the car area.

Honda and Acura car owners report that the Y2K22 bug affects almost all older vehicles, including Honda Pilot, Odyssey, CRV, Ridgeline, Odyssey and Acura MDX, RDX, CSX, and TL models.

Honda customer support has stated it must unravel itself in August 2022, indicating it can be a unique factor.

Yes, we are so sorry for the issue you are experiencing with your vehicle. We have escalated the NAVI Clock Issue to our Engineering Team, and they have informed us that you will experience issues from Jan 2022 thru August 2022. Then it will auto-correct
